How are services priced?
Our services are priced on a labor + mileage basis. Every job we do requires a different amount of attention, detail, and folks to help out. Jobs requiring less help tend to be cheaper than ones that require more. Mileage is based on current gas prices. For more information, Contact Us!
Where do you take my junk?
JOAT Hauling is currently apart of Baltimore's Small Hauler Program, meaning that all your junk is legally disposed of at landfills and recycle centers. We're friends of the environment!

If we listed all the reasons you should go with JOAT, we'd have a list longer than the dictionary. JOAT has customer service levels above other moving and hauling companies. We work with our customers to the best of our abilities, and provide a swift and effortless process for all of our services. We're more than a guy with a trailer, we're a family!
Do you offer discounts on services?
While we don't currently offer discounts, we do our best to work with our customers. Whether that be splitting payments or trying to find the best price for everyone, we do our best to accommodate everyone.

Are there agreements to sign?
Yes, starting 06/29/2026 there will be digital agreements to accept and sign. These agreements will cover our damages policy, payment agreement, and receipt. For more information please download the agreements below or contact us with questions.
What if there's damage during a move?
We do our best to avoid damage to your home and items when we're moving things. If there is a possibility of avoidable damage we will notify you, if you decide to continue then you are responsible for damages. In cases where accidents happen, we take full responsibility and can either subtract damages from your total, come back and repair damages ourselves, or arrange for the damage to be fixed by a third party.
Do you accept tips?
Is an elephant heavy? Tips are appreciated but not required.

We serve a 50 mile radius around the Baltimore area, in special cases we can go further.
